Hi and welcome to another week, and another post here on Made Lovingly!

Despite being in lockdown still, it has felt like a more busy week and time has run away with me.

Probably has something to do with this little sweetie (who I have had to frog a few times!)

This pattern uses a more complex stitch than usual, but once you get into the swing of it, it’s not too bad.

I chose the Fantail pattern because my idea had been to create a pineapple using my Ikea Fejka plant, and so I got out my ‘200 Crochet Stitches’ book until I found the one that seemed to give that appearance.

He/or she, is worked in Paintbox simply cotton dk, in a mustard yellow, blush pink, black and champagne white. I also chose to use black and red felt for the mouth.

You will need a 2.5 mm hook, and a 3.5 mm hook, some scissors, a stitch marker and a tapestry needle.

(Please give the disclaimer at the bottom of the page a read before making this pattern)

Let’s get straight into it!
