Hi, I’m Emma, the creator behind Made Lovingly.
I’m so happy to see you over here, and I hope you enjoy exploring the blog a bit further.

I am a self-confessed crochet addict and I‘ve been crocheting since 2013 when during my summer break, I really needed something to kill the boredom. I had tried numerous crafts over the years but nothing really caught my attention. One day I bought some yarn and a hook and took to YouTube to find out how to do it and amazingly I didn’t give up, I was hooked!

I have crocheted regularly ever since (I have the yarn stash to prove it- much to my husband’s dismay!), and I even love to have a go at designing my own pieces as you will see on this website.
I think my favourite thing to make is amigurumi figures and homewares like blankets, but I will try most projects (although garments scare me a little!).

I love to gift most things I make and I hope you find something inspiring here at Made Lovingly that you can gift to a loved one too. Handmade gifts, in my opinion, are so special and I want to be able to share what I can, to help you on your way.

I am a mum of four and this is still a hobby at the moment. While I want to be able to produce consistent content, please bear with me if I lapse every now and then.
